The Loxone Fan Control Tree is a 4-step AC ceiling fan controller utilizing series capacitors to adjust the speed in discrete steps.

The Fan Control Tree is optimized for AC fans with a load of 60 watts. The minimum load is 30 watts and the maximum is 120 watts. The speed control may be inaccurate for fans with an output other than 60 watts.

In addition to the specifications in the datasheet, the following points must be observed:
- The fan must not have an integrated radio control.
- If the ceiling fan has its own speed setting, it must be set to the highest speed.
- The control of integrated lights is only supported if a separate line is available to control the light. A digital output (e.g., from a relay extension) is required. If the fan is equipped with a pull chain for light control, it must be set to ON.
- The direction of rotation of the fan cannot be changed with the Fan Control Tree. If the fan supports this function, the direction of rotation must be set manually as required.
